The short version
This site is run by WHOSRILA LLC. We collect as little as possible: anonymous visit statistics, and — only if you agree to it — advertising measurement. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone beyond the services listed below.
What we collect
Visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It uses no cookies and does not fingerprint you or build a profile. It cannot identify you individually. This runs for everyone.
Advertising measurement
If you consent, we load the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. Both set cookies, and both receive the same information: which pages you viewed, which streaming service you clicked through to, which song, and whether you played a video or preview. We use this to see whether our ads reach people who actually listen, and to show ads to people who’ve visited before.
In the UK and EEA neither runs until you accept. If you reject, or ignore the banner, neither loads and no advertising cookie is set. Everything on the site works the same either way.
Video
Videos are embedded from YouTube using their no-cookie domain, and the player is only fetched when you actually press play. Once you do, YouTube may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
Mailing list
If you enter your email address, it is stored by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which runs our mailing list. We also store which of music, video and shows you asked to hear about, so we only send what you picked. You will get a confirmation email first — nothing is sent until you click the link in it. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete you at any time.
Changing your mind
Your cookie choice is stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser’s site data for whosrila.com resets it and you’ll be asked again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings — nothing here will break.
Your rights
If you’re in the UK or EEA, you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that’s the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
